Day 1: Fly to Sydney.

Day 3 Sydney, Australia: On arrival make your way to your hotel.

Day 4 Sydney/Cruise: Time at leisure to explore Sydney, one of the world’s most cosmopolitan cities, before you make your way to the port to board the Celebrity Solstice.

Days 5-6 At sea: Two days at sea ensure you have ample time to familiarise yourself with all the onboard facilities and activities. Don’t miss the Lawn Club - there’s absolutely nothing like it! A freshly manicured lawn on the highest deck where you can enjoy casual activities in a decidedly Country Club atmosphere.

Day 7 Bay of Islands, New Zealand: Home to some of the world’s finest beaches and the ideal place to try out some active pursuits, such as kayaking and swimming with dolphins\.

Day 8 Auckland, New Zealand: Ascend the soaring Sky Tower for jaw-dropping 360º views of this captivating city. Or, venture just a little further inland to explore the nation’s proud Maori heritage.

Day 9 Tauranga, New Zealand: Plentiful sunshine and sandy shores... you’ll see why Captain Cook called this area the Bay of Plenty. Close by lie the steaming hot springs and exploding mud pools of Rotorua.

Day 10 At sea: Treat yourself to a pampering treatment at the spa, head to the gym, enjoy a cooking demonstration or arts and crafts lesson, or simply take the chance to sit back and do nothing at all.

Day 11 Akaroa, New Zealand: Nestled in the heart of an ancient volcano, Akaroa is rich with beautiful bays, French and English colonial history, even the largest little penguin colony on the mainland. It’s also home to the rarest and smallest marine dolphin, lots of watersports as well as hiking paths and cycle tours.

Day 12 Dunedin, New Zealand: Were it not for the absence of the Scottish brogue, you might think you’d landed in Edinburgh. Both the scenery and the architecture borrow heavily from Scotland. Dunedin is also home to New Zealand’s only castle.

Day 13 Dusky Sound, Doubtful Sound & Milford Sound New Zealand: The largest and most complex of the many fiords along the New Zealand coast, Dusky Sound features steep cliffs, which have been carved over centuries by dozens of waterfalls. Later this morning, the ship reaches Doubtful Sound where cold mountain water cascades from the cliffs above creating an unusual phenomenon - a dual layered marine ecosystem of fresh and saltwater, which is a playground for fur seals and penguins. Finally, this afternoon the ship sails into the fiords of Milford Sound and it appears to shrink in comparison to the towering cliffs. Situated within Fiordland National Park, this natural wonder is protected by its natural geography and is a haven for all types of wildlife.

Days 14-15 At sea: Two further full days at sea.

Day 16 Sydney, Australia: All too soon the ship returns to Sydney and it’s time to bid farewell to new friends. Disembark and make your own way to your hotel. The remainder of the day is at leisure to sightsee. Visit the iconic Sydney Opera House for a behind-the-scenes tour, scale Sydney Tower to survey the city from on high, or people watch at legendary Bondi Beach.

Day 17 Sydney/Uluru: Make your way to the airport for the flight to Ayers Rock airport. The rest of the day is at leisure.

Day 18 Uluru: A full day to take in the spectacular sight of Uluru. A variety of optional tours and experiences are available including guided base walks, scenic flights and unique dining.

Day 19 Uluru/Cairns: Transfer to the airport for your flight to Cairns, which is considered the gateway to Australia’s Great Barrier Reef in tropical North Queensland.

Days 20-21 Cairns: Two full days at leisure in this modern, vibrant city. Be sure to book an excursion out onto the incredible Great Barrier Reef for your chance to snorkel or dive in this extraordinary underwater world.

Day 22 Cairns/Dubai: Transfer to the airport for your overnight flight to dazzling Dubai.

Day 23 Dubai: On arrival you will be met and transferred to your hotel.

Day 24 Dubai: Explore this spectacular Emirate at your own pace. Perhaps take in the incredible views from the Burj Khalifa, shop at the vast Dubai Mall or for a taste of traditional Arabian shopping, explore the Gold Souk.

Day 25 Dubai: Transfer to the airport for your onward journey.
