Kuala Lumpur

Kuala Lumpur

Once little more than mud and marsh, today KL, as it’s affectionately known, is a dazzling city smoothly blending old-world temples, grand mosques and a colonial past with soaring futuristic skyscrapers and glamorous shopping malls. It is incredibly easy to navigate, with the city centre itself delightfully compact and best explored on foot or via the extensive public transport network.

Start your discoveries at KL’s colonial core around Merdeka Square (Independence Square), whose handsome landmarks include the Royal Selangor Club and Sultan Abdul Samad Building.

Malacca

Malacca

Over the centuries, traders and invaders have left their mark on this quaint city-state with an architectural legacy of colourful shophouses, historic forts and religious buildings that dot the narrow streets of its historic quarter. Mix in a potpourri of cultures, colourful trishaws, chic galleries, traditional tea shops and a vibrant street life, and you have one captivating city to explore.

Stand out sights south of the Melaka River include Dutch Square, Christ Church, the Stadthuys and the relic of the Portuguese fort A’Famosa.

Penang

Penang

Home to golden sands, UNESCO sites, diverse architecture, a national park and exceptional cuisine, the “Pearl of the Orient” will suit those seeking a chilled-out beach break, cultural getaway or both!

Sweeping along a stretch of the northern coast, Batu Ferringhi is the island’s best beach and a great place for watersports. Jellyfish do occasionally wash in on some tides which can affect swimming, however, all of our featured hotels have fantastic pool areas and are right on the beachfront.

The island’s capital, George Town, is not to be missed.
