New Zealand entry requirements:
If you are a British passport holder, you will be required to obtain an Electronic Travel Authority (ETA). You can apply for this either via the Immigration NZ website at: at a charge of NZ$23 or on the mobile app (search for NZeTA) at a charge of NZ$17. The ETA will be valid for two years and can be used for multiple visits to New Zealand.
In addition, at the same time you apply for an ETA, an International Visitor Conservation and Tourism Levy (IVL) will also be collected. The cost of this is NZ$100. The IVL is a way for travellers to contribute directly to the tourism infrastructure they use and help protect the natural environment they enjoy during their stay in New Zealand.
Your specific passport and visa requirements, and other immigration requirements are your responsibility and you should confirm these with the relevant Embassies and/or Consulates. Travellers currently need to complete a Passenger Arrival Card before passing through Customs Passport Control. It is handed out onboard the flight to New Zealand. If not, cards are available in the arrival area or travellers arriving at selected international airports in New Zealand will be able to complete an online declaration.
