Top of the must-do list is to ride the cable car to the summit of majestic Table Mountain, although you may need to wait for the famous mist to clear first.
Winelands & Beyond
A leisurely 45 minutes drive from Cape Town brings you to the scenic Winelands, a region of lush valleys, historic towns, tiny hamlets and Cape Dutch farmsteads. While it’s the wines that have brought the region international acclaim, it’s also a fabulous foodie hub with many outstanding eateries, including those within the wine estates.
Kruger Region
Covering an area the size of Wales, Kruger National Park has all of Africa’s iconic species - elephant, lion, leopard, cheetah, rhino, buffalo, giraffe, hippo and zebra, as well as a supporting cast of 138 other mammals and more than 500 bird varieties.
In Kruger National Park itself our featured accommodation varies from good value informal lodges to exclusive properties with every conceivable luxury. Most include three meals a day (some also include a variety of beverages) and many have African ‘bomas’ for a traditional outdoor dining experience.
