Day 1: Fly to Las Vegas. On arrival collect your rental car and make your way to your hotel.

Day 2 Las Vegas/Zion National Park: Leave the manmade wonder of Las Vegas and travel through the desert to the Colorado Plateau and the natural wonders of the National Parks. Travel through St George and charming Springdale before arriving at Zion National Park. You have a full afternoon to explore this magnificent park with its amazing canyons with trails for every ability (165 miles).

Day 3 Zion National Park/Bryce Canyon National Park: Travel to central Utah and visit the majestic hoodoos of Bryce Canyon. Nature's artistry has created rocks in various shades of red, formed by erosion into pinnacles and spires, even more stunning against the blue skies of the area. Explore the canyon by walking or perhaps on horseback; in the summer months you may even be able to enjoy the local rodeo (90 miles).

Day 4 Bryce Canyon National Park/Lake Powell/Page: Be sure to view the dazzling display of colour and light of the sunrise at Bryce Point. Continue south through Utah, passing through the charming western town of Kanab where many cowboy films have been made. Later, arrive in Page and visit the Glen Canyon Dam and magnificent Lake Powell with its crystal blue waters. This evening, you may you want to take a cruise on the lake (155 miles).

Day 5 Lake Powell/Page/Grand Canyon: This morning, you may want to take the time to take a guided tour of the slot canyons of Antelope Canyon before heading to the Grand Canyon. These canyons are known for their varying colour of sandstone and are a photographer's dream. It is a short drive to the Grand Canyon, one of the natural wonders of the world. Spend your time walking along the rim of the canyon, participating in a ranger led talk or maybe take a helicopter flight above the canyon (136 miles).

Day 6 Grand Canyon National Park: A full day to explore at your own pace. The visitors centre is the perfect place to start as experienced rangers can suggest hikes, view points and activities.

Day 7 Grand Canyon National Park/Sedona: Travel via Oak Creek Canyon and Flagstaff to the charming town of Sedona (108 miles).

Day 8 Sedona/Lake Havasu: Head west and you have the option to travel over some of the original Route 66. A great stopping off point is the town of Seligman, where evidence of the old road can be seen along the main street. Continue to Lake Havasu, home to London Bridge (277 miles).

Day 9 Lake Havasu/Las Vegas: Return to Las Vegas for one final night of fun and excitement. See if you are lucky enough to hit the jackpot at one of the vast casinos or simply stroll amidst the bright lights of The Strip. If time allows, perhaps take in one of the many shows.

Day 10 Las Vegas: Return your car at the airport where your tour concludes with your onward journey.
