Banff National Park was the first one in the country and stretches across the Rockies from Banff to Jasper linked by the spectacular Icefields Parkway. This is land of dramatic, high mountains, glaciers and untamed scenery. The old town of Banff is filled with quaint, wooden shops selling arts and crafts.

Cave and Basin National Historic Site:See the birthplace of Canada's National Park system where hot sulphur springs were found and the orignal bathhouse was built in 1887.

Lake Minnewanka boat tours:Cruise the waters of the largest lake in Banff National Park, Lake Minnewanka. Unique scenic and wildlife photo opportunities are frequent as you travel through the Canadian Rockies by boat to the Devil's Gap.

Lake Louise sightseeing Gondola: Drink in the beauty of the glaciers, natural springs, wildflowers and possibly even some wildlife withi this 14 minute ride from a fully enclosed gondola.

Outdoor sports: A variety of hiking trails exist around the lake. These include trips to Saddleback Pass, Fairview Mountain (2,744m), Mirror Lake, Lake Agnes, Big Beehive, Little Beehive, Devils Thumb, Mount Whyte and Mount Niblock.
