Food & Drink

Jersey prides itself on the quality and variety of its locally produced food and drink - from freshly caught seafood, to succulent meat and specially brewed ales and ciders. Whether you want to dine in style, enjoy a cosy pub atmosphere, laid-back beach sundowners, al fresco dining, or a snack on the go, there are plenty of places to tuck in and tantalise your tastebuds.

Finding great places to eat is one of the highlights of any holiday, Jersey has a fabulous array for all budgets and appetites. Whether you wish to celebrate a special occasion or simply treat yourself, youíll find a variety of excellent Michelin-starred or AA rosette awarded restaurants.

If youíre weary after hours of sightseeing or walking, visit a tearoom for the perfect pick me up. Indulge with freshly made crab sandwiches and homemade cakes or scones laden with local jam and cream.

Country and coastal pubs feature a variety of cuisines and offer great value for money. What could be better than enjoying a feast of seafood or tasty local produce while the sun sets over the sea, washed down with a glass of wine.

There are so many specialities to try including Jersey Royal potatoes and Jersey black butter (a unique autumnal concoction of harvested apples, sugar, spices, liquorice and lemons). During your stay, visit La Mare Wine Estate where excellent wine, cider and even vodka is produced!

Jersey food and drink is celebrated as much as possible. Throughout the year there are a variety of festivals and events dedicated to culinary delights, including Tennerfest which runs for six weeks (October early November) when restaurants offer special menus from just £10 and La Faisísie díCidre (Cider Festival) in October.
