Predominantly French speaking, the vast province of Quebec has diverse landscapes, a rich culture, tasty gastronomy and a calendar full of festivals. While the lure of Montreal and Quebec City is hard to resist, we highly recommend you take the opportunity to venture outside the city confines and discover the wilderness beyond.
Getting there: Mont-Tremblant is about 1 hour 30 minutes drive from Montreal; Tadoussac is approximately 3 hours drive from Quebec City, while St-Alexis-des-Monts is about 2 hours drive from Quebec City or Montreal.
Best time to travel: Spring stirs around mid-March in Quebec and is when the snow begins to melt and the sun feels warmer. June to September is an ideal time to get out and play with plenty of warm weather, perfect for the outdoor life. Autumn sweeps in with a burst of colour and is the perfect time for long rambles and leisurely bike rides. Winter brings snow and freezing temperatures, but you’ll still find lots of fun and activities on offer.
