Flight duration: Maun is approximately 13.5 hours from the UK flying via Johannesburg. Chobe is also approximately 2 hours by road from Victoria Falls.
Best time to travel: Chobe’s peak game viewing season is from May to October, however the warm, rainy months of December to March are the best time to visit Chobe for bird watching and to see the Savute zebra migration. The Okavango Delta is a year-round safari destination however June to August is high water season so brings the best opportunities for boating and canoeing safaris. Bird watching is available year-round.

Language: English is the official language. Setswana is the national language, with minorities speaking Kalanga and Sekgalagadi.
Passports & Visas: A full British passport, which is machine readable and valid for six months beyond your return date is required.
Travelling with children: Children (under 18 years of age) who are travelling into or through Botswana must provide a certified copy of their full unabridged birth certificate as well as a valid passport (an abridged (short) birth certificate will not be accepted). If the child is travelling with one parent, with another adult or unaccompanied, the parent or parents who aren’t present will need to provide an affidavit giving their consent for the child to travel.
