Getting there: There are no non-stop flights from the UK to Hawaii. Flights via Los Angeles or San Francisco to Honolulu on Oahu take approximately 19 hours.
Best time to travel: Hawaii enjoys some of the best weather in the world with long days of sunshine and fairly mild year-round temperatures. The official rainy season is November to March but it can rain every day somewhere on every island, however, it’s more likely to be a light shower than a downpour.
Local time: GMT -10 hours.
Passports & Visas: A full British passport, which is machine readable and valid for six months beyond your return date is required. Please click here to find out if a visa is required for British passport holders.
Health: Before booking any holiday we recommend that you consult a general practitioner or health professional for information on any health requirements for the areas you wish to visit. If you have previously travelled to a Yellow Fever area, you may be required to provide a vaccination certificate.
Resort Fees: Many resorts now charge a compulsory ‘resort fee’ per night of your stay, which is payable locally and added to your room bill. Inclusions in this fee vary, but typically give access to WiFi, free local and long distance calls within the country (not international). It may also cover use of some hotel facilities such as fitness rooms, tennis courts etc.
