While Hua Hin offers miles of sandy beaches, excellent-value hotels, luxury resorts and renowned spas with a lively night market, nearby Cha Am offers a relaxed atmosphere, calm waters and excellent seafood. Peaceful Kui Buri features fishing villages and pristine beaches. Inland attractions include Buddhist temples, royal palaces, Pala-U Waterfall and Sam Roi Yot National Park. Golfers are also well catered for, with some of Thailand’s finest courses nearby.
Hua Hin and Cha Am’s central location give it three distinctive seasons, with some of the lowest rainfall in the country. The dry season runs from November to February, the hot season extends from March to June and the rainy season lasts from July to October. Rain usually occurs mid-afternoon and doesn’t tend to last too long.
