Best time to go
Laos is always hot and humid. November-January are the cooler months; the wet season is June-October, while February-May is drier and very hot. River travel is best between November and January due to high water levels.

Vientiane and Luang Prabang are approximately 13.5 hours from the UK (via Bangkok).
