The coastline stretches for 30 miles and includes many popular beaches including the relaxing resort of Teluk Chempedak.Located just three miles from Kuantan town, Teluk Chempedak has a pristine stretch of sands where you can simply soak up the sun or enjoy the variety of watersports on hand. Beyond the main beach, a number of walking trails head around the rocky promontory, where lush jungle contrasts with the beachfront.

Kuantan’s climate is classified as tropical rainforest due to its location on the river estuary and coastline. The hot dry season is the best time to visit which is between April and September, but you’ll also experience some sunshine during the October to March rainy season.
