Best time to go
Temperatures average between 25-30ºC throughout the year, but December to April is considered the best time to visit as humidity is lower. Between May and October the islands see more rainfall than other months, although usually only short downpours so therefore it is still a good time to travel.
Travel Information
Male International Airport is approximately 11 hours (non-stop) from the UK. Then depending on the location of your chosen island, you’ll need to take a sea plane or speedboat transfer from Male airport which we arrange.
Local currency
Maldivian Rufiyaa. However, hotel bills must be paid by US$ or credit cards. Travellers cheques are not accepted.
