The third largest Hawaiian island, and probably the best known, is home to the majority of Hawaii’s diverse population, and is a fusion of the past and present. From bustling city life to laidback surf towns, you’ll have no end of fun discovering the many delights of Oahu. State capital and Hawaii’s largest city, Honolulu is where you’ll find world-famous Waikiki Beach. Whilst not the place for a peaceful holiday, this unique combination of tropical glamour and bustling international metropolis is definitely a must-see. Here you’ll find a busy white sand beach, world-class shopping and amazing nightlife.
Oʻahu tends to be drier on the west coast while the east coast is wetter and greener. Generally, the weather is pretty agreeable all year round in Hawaiʻi with June to October being the warmest and the heaviest rainfall can be expected in December and January. If you’re into big waves, you’ll want to visit during the winter months.
