Best time to go
Lake Manyara can be visited year-round, with the dry season from June to October offering excellent wildlife viewing as animals gather around water sources. The green season from November to May brings lush landscapes, migratory birds and excellent birdwatching opportunities, making it an attractive destination throughout the year.

Travel Information
Lake Manyara is located in northern Tanzania, approximately two hours from Arusha, and is most commonly accessed via Kilimanjaro International Airport (JRO) or Arusha Airport. The area forms part of Tanzania's renowned northern safari circuit, often combined with visits to the Serengeti, Ngorongoro Crater and Tarangire National Park.
